So, 3 brave explorers are making their way through the jungle when they are captured by a fierce tribe of bloodthirsty savages. The chief approaches the 1st one and says “You have a choice – death….or bunga-bunga.” Well, that seems like a no brainer so he says “bunga-bunga, of course.” Quickly, they lay hands on him, throw him to the ground (face first) and all the men of the tribe proceed to anally violate him, with great vigor. Then they come to the 2nd guy and offer him the same choice. A little bit more hesitantly, perhaps, he also chooses bunga-bunga and proceeds to get boinked up the butt by all the men of the tribe. Then, the chief comes to the 3rd one and says, again, “Death…or bunga-bunga.” He looks the chief straight in the eye, holds his head up and says “I choose death.” The chief turns to his tribesmen and says “Death – by bunga-bunga!”

As I understand it, that is the origin of the term, that is why Silvio Berlusconi called his wild orgies bunga-bunga parties. It’s the one thing I liked about the nasty old warmongering right wing bastard. He definitely knew how to throw a party.
Today, he was found guilty of paying for sex with Ruby Maroug, who was 17 at the time, although she claims that he thought she was 24. She also claims that he never paid her for sex, although she admits that he frequently gave her money, you know, in the way that friendly old men are always giving money to smoking hot young girls just out of the goodness of their hearts and their inherently generous nature.
I’m surprised that they got a conviction on this charge, because both he and she deny that they ever had sex and, being as he’s over 70 years old, I think it’s possible that they are telling the truth, and that he paid her thousands of euros just to dance in front of him naked and maybe feed him strawberries. Anyway, since they are both denying it I don’t see how it was proven.
I expected a conviction on the corruption charges and I would have been happier with that because, as evil and undemocratic as Berlusconi is, I have no problem with wealthy, elderly men shtooping teen hookers. If it happened, it was totally consensual, 17 is almost 18 and, having seen the photos, she definitely could pass for legal age.
He probably won’t do any jail time (the sentence was 7 years), there are still a couple of appeals to go and I’m sure he’s got the best lawyers Italy has to offer. That’s O.K. I see no reason to be vindictive. As long as they can make sure he never holds office again, it’s a win.
