Italian prosecutors have released a document outlining the case against Silvio Berlusconi. Hoo boy, smokin’ stuff. Apparently, he has these Bunga-Bunga parties all the time, with strippers, wild, kinky goings on and all. Prosecutors say the evenings have a pattern to them. First, dinner. Lots of rich and powerful guests. Celebrities. Beautiful, young women.
Then there’s some dancing. Pole dancing, lap dancing, plenty of up close and fondling sexy bits type of dancing. Then, the men take the young girls off to private rooms. Apparently, sometimes Silvio Berlusconi went off with more than one girl at a time.
Again, according to this document from the prosecutor, Silvio chose Karima el-Mahroug for 13 of those pleasure filled evenings. She was 17 at the time. 32 other alleged prostitutes were also listed in the document.
Worth Risking Jail For
Now, one humorous note. It’s not illegal to have sex with a prostitute in Italy, as long as she’s over 18. Up until not so long ago, the age was 16. Who raised that age limit? Silvio Berlusconi.
I’m still inclined to give the neo-fascist warmonger and sweet, young Karima the benefit of the doubt, though. She says they never had sex and, in view of the fact that he’s 74 years old, I consider that a possibility. On the other hand, these documents are pretty darned specific in their allegations. The cops either had somebody on the inside or somebody on the inside sold Berlusconi out. Whether they can make it stick in court or not (tapes), we will have to wait and see.
Which leaves the question: What is bunga-bunga? There are a few different theories. Some say it comes from Berlusconi’s favorite joke. (You’ve all heard i: “…and then the cannibal king says O.K., death. By bunga-bunga!”), one young German actress says Berlusconi named it after her, and some say it’s a kind of dance.
With that kind of ambiguity, I think it’s best that we go straight to the word. What does it sound like? Bunga- Bunga, bunga bunga….sure sounds like fucking to me.
