In the understandably celebratory atmosphere surrounding the “death” of Osama bin Laden, there is one thing that disturbs . They have already buried the body at sea.
Sure puts the matter to rest. Now, nobody will ever be able to suspect that they just threw some guy who bore a reasonable resemblance to Osama bin Laden overboard and confirmed the fact in the press and public consciousness.

Because to me, it automatically triggers a conspiracy theory when I see the evidence being so swiftly destroyed.
And I’m not totally buying this “in accordance with Islamic tradition.” This is the guy who allegedly masterminded 9/11. I don’t think we need to concern ourselves overly much with his dignified transition into the afterlife. It seems an odd contradiction to the crowds dancing in Times Square.
Anyway, I hope they took lots of pictures and kept DNA and fingerprint samples and stuff like that. Because some people will ask questions.

That struck me as mighty strange too. They probably either didn’t really get Bin Laden or he was already dead from natural causes and they bombed the house to make it look like we got him and wanted to make sure there was no autopsie showing the time of death. There could be lots of other possibilities, but I find it really hard to believe that they would have dumped his body at sea within a few hours. As soon as I heard that, I said “Sounds like bullshit to me”.

sounds like the americans trying to get their balls out of a sling after ten years of being on the hunt for Bin Laden, i guess it had to end some time.
Fails the sniff test. And the crotch grabbing and “USA” chanting is just disgusting. Makes us look as insane and depraved as those who follow(ed) bin Laden. Let alone the fact that we’re celebrating murder. Maybe the guy deserved it: but our laws demand that he be brought to trial to face his accusers and then, if found guilty, sentenced accordingly. We’re no better than the barbarians we’re trying to subdue.
