Huge Mega Announcement, Please Read!

The light flows through the water

that is falling through the air

a rainbow is a picture

on a screen that isn’t there

 – Poems from Prague

3 of Swords, from Tarot Poems

I am writing this to announce that all of my poems are online. Well, not quite all, but at least 300-400 of them. Some of them are collected into books, which are available on Amazon. The plan is that eventually they all will be, although a few of them may need to be reworked before then.

In any event, you can read them all for free at http://www.gurukalehuru.com. I know that a lot of you reading this are writers, like me, and I’m guessing that a lot of you reading this are also, like me, less than flush with ready cash to spend on a book of poetry that you may or may not like. So, please, read them first.

If you are among the affluent minority and like the poems, I would be thrilled if you would buy the books, which I think would make lovely gifts by the way.

Here’s the breakdown: There are 3 books which are available already on Amazon. They are “Poems from Prague,” “The Guru Kalehuru and other Poems,” and “The Alchemist’s Notebook.” One more should be there soon, we’re not sure if the problem is with Amazon, Createspace, or something we’ve done. That is “Four Syllables on Water” which is one of my personal favorites, but also somewhat of an atypical style for me.

There are 3 more books which I hope to have available on Amazon by the end of the summer. Those are “The This of the That,” “Willie’s Silly Animal Poems” (which I hope will be popular with kids) and “Vowellery,” which I hope will be useful for students of English as a 2nd language and/or their teachers. It’s not exactly earth-shaking poetry fraught with deep meaning. It’s more of a pronunciation guide.

In addition, there are pages and pages of stuff that hasn’t been organized into book form yet, and I’m adding more all the time. Just finished a new poem today, as a matter of fact.

There is another book, “Tarot Poems”and I’ve only got a small sampling of the poems on my website, because it’s actually much more the artist’s book than it is mine. In a sense, the poems illustrate the drawings, which are awesome. Also, it is more than a book. It is a box set. There is a completely original Tarot deck along with the book, which is both in English and Czech. Information for purchasing that one is also available on my website or, if you happen to be in Prague, you could stop into Marie Brožová’s gallery, at Malé Náměsti 11.
