O.K., I know I wrote about this yesterday, but I just can’t get over Glenn Beck saying that the Occupy Wall Street people will “come into our homes, drag us into the streets and kill us all.” Worse than Robespierre, he said. It’s so at odds with the scenes I’ve seen, of large numbers of people looking relentlessly normal and reasonable. So, I wrote
this poem:
From the Mind of Glenn Beck
The liberals are everywhere
they’re in your office, on the stairs
they’re in your classrooms, in the halls
they’re even in the shopping malls
in the war between the classes,
they’re the screaming, unwashed masses
Much, much worse than Robespierre
the liberals are everywhere
they want the bankers heads on pikes
we all know what they are like:
dirty, lazy, communistic
drug addicted, atheistic
always having nasty sex
who knows what they’ll think of next
they will come into our houses
crash our gated citadels
hairy, naked tattooed bodies
smelling of their hippie smells
they will drag us by our ankles
out into the public square
and stab us with their liberal knives
the liberals are everywhere
In other news, the Topeka, Kansas, city council has made it official. It is now perfectly legal, in the city of Topeka, to beat your wife. I wish I were joking about that. Here is the link.

Good one.
Yes, Beck is nuts…getting nuttier with each passing day.
