Geithner’s Gotta Go

Tonight, I’ve got a couple of political points to comment on and, regretfully, the 1st is an own goal from my team.  Yesterday I was gloating because of Romney’s troubles, how it was coming out that he was a sleazy rich person who doesn’t have the average person’s

Does this look like someone who would defraud people out of billions of dollars? Yes, actually, it does.

best interests at heart.  Today it comes out that Tim Geithner, Obama’s Secretary of the Treasury, is not only working for the big banks, which I always suspected, but that he’s working directly, absolutely, 100% for the big banks, like they tell him what to do and say and he says it.

It makes it hard on us Obama supporters who try to argue that Democrats aren’t as bad as Republicans when shit like this comes out.

When we say “Mitt Romney is a sleazy weasel who wants to steal all the money and give it to his rich friends,” all the Republicans have to say is “Tim Geithner, hahaha.”  The part that hurts is, for a change, they’ve got a point.

If Obama wants to keep his credibility, Geithner’s gotta go.

The  other news story that caught my eye today was Jennifer Carroll’s response to the charge that she loves making love with other ladies.  She said (and I’m not making this up) “Black women that look like me don’t engage in relationships like that.”  She also made some snide insinuations about her accuser and waxed rhapsodic about what a totally straight wife and mother she is, but I believe her less and less.  It’s not what she said.  It’s what she didn’t say.  Nowhere in her defense did she say “Me and Beatriz were not burying our faces in each other’s vaginas.”  Nowhere in her defense did she actually say “I am not lesbian.”

What does this “black women who look like me” line even supposed to mean?  Does she think she’s too pretty to be gay, or too homely?  It’s just a totally bullshit line.  Because, of course, women who look a whole lot like her are indulging themselves in female to female funtime every single day.

Let your freak flag fly, Jennie baby.  It may be the end of a political career, but whole new avenues may open up for you.  For one thing, I bet Larry Flynt would pay a lot of money for pictures of you – especially hot, naked pictures of you and Beatriz getting it on.
