Ashley Judd did not flip, as the Huffington Post so flippantly said. She never said she was running for sure. It was Huffpo that said that, based on one source. Then, the statement was denied when they reached Judd for comment, but they ran the story anyway, saying “that was not a complete denial.”
So, Huffpo got burned, and lost a bit of credibility. That’s fine. They’ve still got lots of readers and, as fare a journalistic credibility goes, nobody else has any either, so they’re on pretty safe ground.
All Ashley Judd ever said was that she was thinking about running. So, now she has apparently thought about it, and decided against it. The Huffington Post has no one to blame but themselves for getting it wrong.

So, while everybody was talking about gun control (we’re losing on that one. Because the Democrats are fucking weenies who just talk liberal, we’re not likely to get a ban on assault weapons or 30 round clips. They’ll get the background checks, and call it a great victory. Sort of like with Health Care.) and gay marriage, a bill breezed through congress that will give Monsanto, essentially, legal immunity.
We could still hope for an Obama veto, but it would be a vain hope. When has he not disappointed us?

Steven King (the asshole congressman from Iowa, who brags about shooting raccoons at close range with high powered weapons, not the brilliant horror writer) is all lathered up about Sasha and Malia Obama going to the Bahamas for spring break. Hey, Steve! At least they weren’t drunk.
