Even a Paranoid Moron Can be Right Sometimes

Now, the problem with Alex Jones is that, despite the fact that he’s a paranoid, raving lunatic, a moron, and a thoroughly unpleasant person, as evidenced in this video, I happen to agree with him about certain things.

Well, about 9/11, anyway.  And I understand his distrust of government because it definitely seems that the world is set up so that nobody gets to a high level of government, in any country, without being a manipulative, soulless dickhead.  I keep hoping to be proved wrong on that one, and I keep voting, but the evidence is overwhelming.

But, back to 9/11.  Unfortunately, any time we point out that the PNAC statement of intent clearly expressed a desire for a “Pearl Harbor Style Event” and that a lot of the signatories to that document were  high up neo-cons in the Bush administration, that two planes cannot physically knock down 3 buildings, that the speed and pattern of the fall both indicate a controlled demolition, that the Bin Laden family (who, one would think, would have been the 1st ones the FBI would want to interview) were whisked out of the country while all other flights were grounded, that George W. Bush was conveniently placed in a grade school reading to children (even though he blew it, that was obviously a planned photo-op), that Marvin Bush, the president’s brother, was director of security for the WTC, that building owner Larry Silverstein got a huge (5 billion buckaroos per building) insurance payout, and the insurance companies didn’t bat an eyelash, and dozens of other coincidences and unexplained oddities, people just respond by saying “you’re nuts.”

And they’ve got Alex Jones to point to as proof.
