He says that he is settling down and putting his bunga bunga days behind him. My guess is he’ll be getting more bunga bunga than he can handle. Anyway, at 27, she is perfectly legal and 10 years older than a couple of the girls who got him into trouble in the first place. His second wife, Veronica Lario, divorced him after he gave expensive jewelry to a young girl for her 16th birthday, and then there was Karima el-Marough, aka Ruby the Heartbreaker.
One of the charges currently pending against aging stud Silvio is that he exchanged cash for a little bit of personal bunga bunga time with her when she was only 17, so, underage prostitution. If she’d been over 18, or if no money had changed hands, no harm, no foul.
But she is avoiding giving any testimony in court against him by the simple expedient of staying the hell out of Italy. There are plenty of beaches in Mexico and she is on vacation, thank you very much. A really well paid vacation, would be my guess. Beauty and brains.
I have mixed feelings about this. I’d really like to see him get nailed on the corruption charges and I’d be very happy to see him do some actual jail time, because that would probably keep him from running for office again, although I’m not even 100% sure of that. He’s a tough old shit.
I hope he gets away with boinking the teenage hooker. She may have technically been a child, but she was in an adult’s body and I’m sure, if it happened, that she was consenting.
Also, I wish him luck in his new marriage – just as long as he never gets back into politics again.
