Sort of like strippers dressed like schoolgirls, or cops, or nurses. Really, does it matter what they start out as? I mean, a girl could come on stage dressed as an ogre, or a homeless person, she’s still going to strip, right?

Of course, one of the strippers wasn’t even a stripper. She was member of Parliament, and Berlusconi stalwart, Nicole Minetti. Of course, she could be defined as a stripper dressed up as a nun by virtue of the fact that she came onto stage dressed as a nun and was undressed before the end of her routine. But she’s also a member of parliament, and a former TV personality and dental hygienist. Nicole Minetti is an incredibly multi-faceted woman.
These are the kind of salacious little details that are leaking out of the Berlusconi trial, currently taking place. He is charged with paying for sex with Moroccan born belly dancer Karima El-Mahrough, better known as ‘Ruby the Heartbreaker.’ She was 17 at the time. He is also accused of abusing his power to get police to release Ruby after she was arrested for theft.
I am glad that Silvio Berlusconi is gone from power. He was an arrogant, strutting peacock, a corrupt plutocrat and a loathsome warmonger. I wish he were on trial for those things.
Because the only thing I find at all admirable about Berlusconi is that the old bastard sure knows how to throw a party.
