Hey, don’t get me wrong.  I dislike Silvio Berlusconi because he is a nasty, arrogant, plutocratic, warmongering old fuck.  I would like to see him removed from office and can’t understand why the Italian people returned him to the Prime Minister’s position.  I suppose the U.S. does not have a monopoly on short sighted, uninformed voters.

But I don’t really care if he has “Bunga Bunga” parties at his villas, if he gets lap dances and has lesbian shows, any of that.  He certainly has better taste in women than Bill Clinton (I thought Monica was cute, even if a bit on the chubby side, and Gennifer Flowers was hot, but Paula Jones?  Skank), John Edwards or David Vitter (if you’re going to cheat on your wife, why choose somebody who looks exactly like your wife?).  Tiger Woods probably beats him on the numbers, but Tiger Woods is an athlete and about 4 decades younger than Bonkin’ Berlusconi.

I don’t even care that a couple of the girls were underage.  Both Noemi Letizia, who got expensive jewelry from Berlusconi for her 18th birthday (which was the reason Berlusconi’s wife divorced him) and Karima El Maroug, the Moroccan belly dancer who uses the stage name Ruby Heartbreak and was 17 when she started going to the “Bunga Bunga” parties, have denied having sex with Silvio, and I believe them.  The man is 74.  I also believe Karima when she says that she told people she was 24.  She certainly has adult attributes.

So, he gave her 7,000 Euros.   He’s got billions.  Percentage of income wise, that’s the same as if I bought a girl a beer.
