What I Believe

Actually, I suspect that a lot of "suicides" and "accidental deaths" are really murders.

As sort of a continuation of yesterday’s blog, I think it might be helpful to list which “conspiracy theories” I believe, and which I don’t.

1. 9/11 was an inside job.  Oh, hell yes.

2. Trig is not Sarah’s baby.  Yup, I believe that

3. Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone.  I believe he was, as he said, the patsy.  Personally, I think LBJ was behind it.  Perhaps indirectly because, he was, after all, just a car or two back, but the big money people knew Lyndon would give them the war they wanted.  Also, he had the power both in Texas and on the federal level to cover it up, which he did.  I think the conversation between LBJ and Earl Warren went something like this.

Johnson:  Earl, we’d like to wrap this up real quick like.

Warren:  Well, certainly it will take time to examine all of the evidence thoroughly…

Johnson:  I’ll give you all the civil rights legislation you want.

Warren: Deal.

4. Marilyn Monroe was murdered.  Yeah, looks that way to me.  Just because JFK was the victim of a conspiracy, doesn’t mean that he wasn’t the perpetrator in a different one.

5.  ZOG.  The Jews (the Rothschilds) control the world.  Nope.  Not buying that one.  You know why two Jews build three synagogues?  You go to your synagogue, I’ll go to my synagogue, and we’ll both boycott that son of a bitch down the road.  I do believe that rich people conspire with each other to become even richer.  Conspiracy, after all, just means talking about it and who else are rich people going to talk to?  Poor people aren’t going to help them get richer.  Also, as much as they are conspiring with other rich people, they are conspiring against others.  That’s just business.

Nobody controls the world.  The world is a fucking mess.

5.  Bigfoot, Hogzilla, the Chupacabra and other strange creatures.  Yes and no.  If a strange creature is hypothesized, it is a weird monstrous thing that fringe people believe in.  If it’s actually proven to exist, then it’s an animal, with a classification and there’s nothing strange about it.   The Loch Ness monster, though, is known to have been a hoax.

6.  Ghosts and/or reincarnation  I would love to believe, because that would prove the existence of an afterlife, which would be  a very pleasant thing to believe in, but I don’t.

7.  Aliens.  Ditto.  I would love to believe, and I’m certain that there are other intelligent, even space faring creatures, in the universe, but the distances are huge and I suspect that faster than light travel really is impossible.  We don’t know exactly what the limits of physical possibility are but it’s reasonable to assume that there are limits.  Still, ark ships, extreme longevity, who the hell knows?  I’ll keep an open mind on this one.

Watch the “Zeitgeist” film trilogy by a guy who put his whole life savings into exploring various ‘realities’, conspiracy theories and other such post modern philosophy. I say the films are by ‘a guy’ because he remains anonymous because he receives death threats. I say he must have struck a nerve.

just watched it. Interesting asnd thought provoking. Though the guy doesn’t remain anonymous, unless he’s using an alias, because his name is on the film.
