Christmas is Coming

We’re off to the cottage, the kids have been up there for a couple of days, so I have to hammer out this blog and we’ll be on our way.  I think, I hope, I’ll be able to write my blog from there, if we can figure out a way to patch together an internet connection which shouldn’t really be a problem as some people actually have  internet access through their phones but I don’t know how to do it and I don’t want to tap out my blog on the keyboard of a mobile phone so there is a slight possibility that there will be a one or two day break but I’ll try real hard to avoid that.

Did Christmas shopping last night, it is a real blessing that my wife likes Christmas almost as much as  I hate it, and she certainly enjoys shopping, an activity which fills me with dread.  She  even chooses her own gifts from me and then pretends to be surprised.  It is our annual tradition.

I’m looking forward to Christmas being over but I’m also looking forward to the full week and a bit more of a holiday I’ll have after that, and I hope to get a lot  done.  There’s one book almost finished, I just need to write an intro and a few extra little bits in the middle and that will be “Twitter Poems” which, the more I work on it, the better I like, there’s another book, a kid’s thing called “What Do Children Like to Do?” which is entirely finished, we just need to get it into book form and online, so those are my post Christmas, end  of 2012 resolutions  and I’m not going to make any New Year’s resolutions at all this year since I always break them anyway and I’ll probably even break that one  and go ahead and make a  list, how twisted is that?
