Campaign Update

The 4th debate, apparently, was a huge snoozefest. I didn’t actually watch (time zones) but that seems to be the general consensus. Part of it, of course, is the way they are arranged.
Elizabeth Warren got to speak for over 20 minutes, more than anybody else. Tulsi Gabbard got to speak for less than half that. Which is ridiculous. Everyone who is a candidate should be allowed to speak for the same amount of time. Otherwise, it is the network favoring one candidate over the others. A huge thumb on the scales. That’s just obvious.
In bigger political news, Bernie Sanders picked up a key endorsement and is set to get a couple more. “Bernie is leading a working-class movement to defeat Donald Trump that transcends generation, ethnicity and geography,” Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said in her announcement of support.
Even more, it was released that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) will appear with Bernie at his “Bernie’s Back” rally this Saturday in Queens, and they will officially endorse him then.
Of course, it’s not a big surprise. They are aligned with him, ideologically. But, it’s certainly well timed.
