The Women’s Vote

I just saw a woman, an actual woman on my Facebook feed, defending Joe Biden by saying “Well, the Tara Reade thing was in 1993, and a lot of men do sleazy stuff like that, and I’m sure Joe is learning.”
This is ridiculous. First, there is no real indication that he is learning. He still does not respect personal distance. Second, she is forgetting that Joe hasn’t exactly been a great champion of women’s rights throughout his career. He was horrible to Anita Hill, and saw to it that Clarence Thomas got confirmed for his seat on the Supreme Court. He has argued that states should have the right to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Bernie, on the other hand, has never been accused of any sexual impropriety, he was for Roe v. Wade before there was Roe v. Wade and he was named by Gloria Steinem as an ‘honorary woman,’ his record on fighting for women’s rights is that good.
Of course some women (like the one who wrote that comment) are defending Joe Biden because they think he’s already the Democratic nominee, because that’s what the MSM has been telling them.
Voters in Ohio, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, Louisiana, Wyoming, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Kansas, Indiana, Nebraska West Virginia, Kentucky, Oregon, the Virgin Islands, D.C., Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, and South Dakota might have a thing or two to say about that. Especially the women voters.
